Grand Opening – The Palmer Apartments

We are very excited to announce the opening of The Palmer Apartments.  On May 1, our first residents moved into the building.

The Palmer is a historic conversion of the Green Hill Farms Hotel which was built in the early 20th century by famed Philadelphia architect Horace Trumbauer.  After serving as a resort hotel to Philadelphia’s elite for 20 years, the building was purchased by Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Cross Properties purchased the building in 2014.  The development process included getting the building listed on the Nation Register of Historic Places as well as placing the building in the Lower Merion protected list.

The Palmer is now 110 luxury apartments that sit on 9 beautifully landscaped acres at the corner of City Ave and Lancaster Ave.  With unparalleled amenities on the Main Line including a 24/7 concierge, saltwater pool, two historic marble staircases, original fireplaces in units, a gourmet kitchen among many others – The Palmer is the gateway to the Main Line.  We look forward to our sister project on Sibley Avenue in Ardmore being equally as beautiful.
